Our Coach

KOSTA PETRATOS

Kosta Petratos brings a wealth of high-level experience to the academy, having competed across both the A-League and NPL environments. His journey through elite football has equipped him with a deep understanding of the game, professionalism and the standards required to succeed at the top level.

Coming from a family with a strong legacy of successful athletes, Kosta has grown up immersed in a culture of discipline, performance and passion for football. This background shapes his approach to coaching—instilling not just skill, but the mindset and habits needed to excel.

Kosta is driven by a clear purpose: to develop the next generation of players. His focus is on building technically sound, confident and intelligent footballers, while helping each individual reach their full potential. Through his experience and leadership, players are guided to raise their standards and take their game to the next level.

The Petratos family has built a strong football legacy through years of dedication, professionalism, and love for the game. Led by Angelo Petratos — a former Sydney Olympic and NSL-level player with overseas experience in Greece — the family created an environment built on discipline, hard work, and technical development from a young age. That foundation helped produce multiple professional footballers across Australia and overseas, with the family becoming one of the most recognised football families in the country.
